We continue to monitor the possibility of legal action regarding allegations of child sex abuse involving the Diocese of Winona or some of its parishes. As we do, we continue to offer our prayers for any victims of abuse; anyone so harmed deserves to have the truth be known and to see justice done.
Even as we pay close attention to these matters, we also continue to carry out our mission. We share a common faith and a spiritual heritage with our many in our Catholic community – including the Diocese and its parishes – but in every respect – legally, financially, operationally – we are an independent and separate entity. We’re confident that legal action or a change in status by one of our clients will not change our obligation – or our ability – to manage our clients’ assets in a manner consistent with their intentions.
Accordingly, we remain committed to providing the best possible service to the donors who entrust us with assets for charitable and philanthropic purposes; the institutions on whose behalf we steward funds, and; those who benefit from philanthropy.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
